1,3-Dimethylamylamine is a derivative of geranium oil which resembles the body’s own chemical messenger, epinephrine (adrenaline). Like adrenaline, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine is a powerful CNS stimulant, for added energy, increased clarity and a boost in physical performance, especially valuable to athletes during calorie restriction or when a high level of focus is needed. For fat loss, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine works through a similar chemical pathway as ephedrine, causing a rise in cAMP, the chemical messenger that triggers fat release.

All products containing dimethylamylamine have been pulled off the shelves of all Military Commissaries and Base Exchanges because recent reports show that two soldier deaths and additional adverse health effects in other service members is related to the use of products containing DMAA.

Awesome product and great price. Can run on a treadmill for an hour with great mental focus. Works better after a few days off as tolerance build up with daily use. I use 4 caps (100mg) and I weigh 103kg (227lb) I have lost 10kg in 3 months using primaforce caps and sometimes Jack3d powder which also contains 1,3 dimethylamylamine. got the product from USA (cheaper than Australia) 50 odd Aussie dollars for 200 caps, Awesome, give me more!!

(Admin: This review applies to the Primaforce product.)

1,3-Dimethylamylamine is a very interesting supplement. It's a great alternative for those wishing to cycle off of caffeine but still have great focus and energy. It's best to use this on an empty stomach - even one 25mg pill had me feeling very positive and energetic for a few hours. If you're taking it after you've had a meal or two, I'd recommend upping the dose to 50 or 75mg. This does make you sweat a lot at higher doses, and you get that adrenaline rush, so it may make some feel anxious. The price is pretty much unbeatable though.

I bought AMP from Ergopharm which has 1,3 dimethylamylamine as one of the ingredients and though it works great for my early morning workouts, I wanted something I could take in the afteroons to get through school and keep me focused so I got some pure stuff from Primaforce and so far it works wonders. To give an example - yesterday, I was struggling with putting together a research paper so I took 1 capsule and within 20 minutes my mind was clear and ready to spurt out words. It was great! Great alternative to Modafinil and no side effects except for being a bit edgy.

I actually purchased some bulk capsules of this product based on reviews from this website, and needless to say I was very, very pleased. This is without a doubt the best pure energy product I've ever tried. I literally feel like I'm flying, with no jitters, for hours and am able to get much more done. It does provide more of a mental energy more than anything, and dosing of anywhere from 50mg-100mg seems to work well for me at 215 lbs.

I couldn't believe that such a reasonably priced bulk product could deliver energy that I have never really experienced before, but this truly changed my mind. No side effects- as in a crash, but you do notice when it's 'over', so to speak. Overall I love this product and will be purchasing again when I run out.
