Written by soundcheck129 - #1 reviewer - View all my reviews Definitely pleasantly surprised by this. I'm wary of exotic fruit proteins, but this one delivered, with an impressive nutritional profile to boot. Each scoop of The Isolate contains 104 calories, with 25 grams of protein, and as the name suggests, it is all whey protein isolate, no blend. No fat and just 1 gram of carbohydrates, so it's hard to believe the Strawberry Kiwi tastes this good. More strawberry than kiwi, but that's not too terrible. This is sugar-free, with sucralose and ACE-k for flavoring. While the profile is impressive, it is not very filling, and it is quite expensive (but what isolate isn't?) Going for the 4.4lb is the better deal, although I only bought this because I got it on sale, otherwise it's not budget-friendly. Mixes pretty thick for an isolate, which I liked. 1 of 3 people found the following review helpful

Written by Anonymous Mix: I mixed it with my Magic Bullet with 1 cup of milk, but when I drank it with a fat straw, I could taste some undissolved bits at the bottom. Almost like coffee grinds. These grinds lingered at the back of my throat after I finished drinking it. I do not notice such grinds in Nectar. Colour was very light pink. Nectar strawberry kiwi was darker pink. Taste: Fruit Blast has a slight tangy yoghurt flavour to it. I think Nectar has a bit more flavour and is a bit sweeter (although both are sugar & aspertame free). Overall not bad I guess. Fruit Blast also appears to have more trace amino acids than Nectar, and 1g of Carbs. Other than that, the labels are almost identical. Maybe I 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful

Written by phrozen5100 - Top 5 reviewer - View all my reviews Taste - So far I've tried Strawberry-Kiwi and Cranrazz. Strawberry Kiwi tasted pretty good, but it wasn't enough to get me terribly excited. Cranrazz, on the other hand, makes a very tasty standalone shake. Cranrazz might actually be the best 'fruity' protein shake I've had. With either flavor you can expect a shake with a more watery consistency than some concentrate based shakes. Ease of Mixing - This isn't as easy to mix as Syntrax Nectar or even IDS Multi-Pro, but it's not too bad. Stirring with a spoon usually does the job with a small amount of clumping. I've tried this only with water. Value - I got a great deal on this stuff, but it's normally priced around $25.00 for 2 lbs. At that price, there are plenty of other options that are more 'budget-friendly'. Overall, this is a tasty little protein isolate that'll cost you a decent amount. If you have a hankering for something fruity PWO, this might do it for you. If you're looking for an 'everyday whey', then there are much cheaper alternatives out there. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful
