Well as i said previously im fan to try mixed supplements in order to experiment distinct results and know what and what not worked for me. When youre on a budget, you need to stick to the basics, which Whey protein is the main one. After looking around for prices i've found American Whey VERY cheap and its well worth it, so i bought it.

At first it was so great that i couldn't believe the price for what you get. The ingredient profile its not the best but its ok, it just cheap protein but not THAT bad quality. The taste is decent (very similar to BodyFortress in consistency, taste and mixability) but for one or other reason, i was getting bloated everytime i took it. Bloat and gas became a problem, a nasty problem lol, but i ended my protein.

Thats the only bad side i did experiment, other than that its a very affordable and competitive whey protein. If youre on a budget, give this whey a try, you shouldnt be disappointed.

If not for the good-hearted folks at American Whey, I would have never purchased this product. "Woman, give me sample!" my e-mail read. A few weeks later, a mysterious package appeared filled with suspicious powders...Vanilla, Chocolate and Berry. After taking a few hits, I realized this wasn't my usual shipment, nay, I would have to actually take these orally...with water as well...

Taste - Holy smokes! This really blew me away. Typical protein powders - even some of my favorites - have a slightly diluted and artificial taste about them. This actually tasted rich, creamy and real. Chocolate? Best damn protein powder chocolate I've ever had. Vanilla? Right up there with Nitrean, but much richer and creamier...so rich that it should be taken with more water to dilute the sweetness. Berry? Very good stuff, but I'm not a huge berry fan.

I've only tasted these in water so far; so I can only assume that they're ridiculously delicious in 2% milk (or skim for you fat haters out there).

Ease of Mixing - It's just OK. Just like most of your other protein powders out there. Slight clumping may be expected when mixing with a spoon. Just blend it with ice and thank me later.

Value - 10 lbs. of isolate for $60? Hot damn, that's amazing! The closest thing to this amazing deal is the Scivation 10 lb. protein, but that's not even isolate-based. You can pay twice as much for a 'better' whey, but you sure as hell won't gain twice as much mass from it. The variety of flavors isn't anything to write home about, but really, who cares for this price.

Overall, this is the whey to go for whey. Not only that, but this protein seems patriotic to me...not sure what it is exactly, but it certainly gives me that feel. You may doubt my opinion on the taste, but you can always ask for a sample if you really think I'm full of crap. Don't be one of those pretentious bastards thinking you'll make better gains off of a more expensive whey. Just do what's right for your wallet and your country...American Whey.
