BSN's Cellmass is a pretty standard product. Some people think it is over hyped; I for one think this product is a fairly decent creatine for beginners. I used this product for approximately four months and noticed pretty fair increases in strength. I didn't have any of the typical "water retention" that everyone fears when taking creatine, but then again I was drinking 2 gallons of water a day. I noticed I gained some muscle and lean mass as I think it was around 4 lbs give or take. The product's taste isn't that bad as I tried all their flavors and I think became immune to them. The powder smells strong, but the taste is about what you would expect from kool aid. It didn't mix that well most of the time for me as I kept getting clumps in my shaker. You also have to play around with the water mixture to suit your taste. Altogether, a good creatine for a steep price.

CELLMASS is a good post workout drink as it does deliver most of the right stuff when your muscles are screaming for attention. Its low GI level is also very attractive for me as I have sensitivities with blood sugar. However, it is extremely expensive compared to other products that offer similar levels of nutrition.

Well to begin with, the value per serving of this product is really bad! If you have some extra cash lying around then I might say it's an option, but even then this product doesn't live up to the advertising hype! After using it for about three weeks now, I can honestly say that it hasn't given me anything special in terms of strength or recovery. I can compare it to a normal creatine product that costs 1/2 the price, mix it with some glutamine and there you have it! The taste is not too product (I purchased Arctic Berry) and I must say it mixes fairly easily too. I have noticed though that even if i may have gained some lean mass, it initially comes from water retention, however I’d say in the third week, some lean mass does start packing on. I know there are many stories going around about whether it actually contains any creatine, although I wouldn't be surprised if they were true! To be honest, I'd much rather prefer to stick to a normal creatine product like Creapure or SizeOn that does exactly the same job if not better, and doesn't leave a hole in my wallet!

At first, I thought BSN products were a big red tub of hype. But after trying this product I would recommend it to people. After waiting about 8 days for the effects to work as they claim to, I really did experience great gains in energy in the gym and with each workout I was able to work harder and longer! The taste was not too bad but not the best, I had the Arctic Berry Blast flavor. I found the stuff to be a little sweet and sour for my palate. The mixability was great in a shaker cup, but I wouldn’t recommend stirring the powder into water, it was clumpy and left grainy residue on the cup. When I started using this product I was about 148lbs and no more than a week ago I weighed in at about 154lbs. About 6lbs lean muscle mass for just over a month! (I bought the 60 servings tub!) As far as the patent CEM3 technology I can’t comment on its effectiveness over CEE as I haven’t tried that stuff out yet. But compared to CM I didn’t experience water retention, so that’s an added bonus for sure.

Cellmass is a pretty good product, but it doesn't contain enough servings for how much it costs. It has a good amount of creatine, and a good amount of glutamine. Glutamine is key to rebuilding cell tissue. I noticed that i wasn't as sore the next day if I took it right after my workout, and I have seen a good amount of gains in my workout. Within the first week of use I noticed about a 3 pound gain in water weight, then later any other weight that I gained was muscle mass. Although I am a big fan of BSN I wouldn't recamend this product unless you could get it for really cheap. Otherwise I would suggest that you get some creatine mono and some glutamine. It will be much cheaper and give you alot more servings.

I took Cellmass for about 4 months and really did not know any better as it was my first use of Creatine. I have since used Sizeon and have seen the light in terms of Creatine effectiveness. Cellmass does little more than make you feel like you are taking something that will help you lift heavier weight and get big, which can be important due to its placebo effect. But as soon as you realize you are just drinking a moderately tasting sugary drink after workouts, you will disappointed. It does not mix well and requires you to fill up your glass multiple times to get it all out. This is a must due to its expensive price tag. A 30 day supply will cost upwards of 40 dollars. There is also some debate as to whether one of its main selling points, CEE or Creatine Ethyl Ester is actual even an active ingredient in this product. BSN is currently in a lawsuit as to whether or not they defrauded the public by not actually putting this in Cellmass. For these reasons I would suggest even regular bulk Creatine Monohydrate over overpriced Cellmass. It is a rich man's gatorade.
