A great job by Controlled Labs on this one. Purple WrAAth keeps my endurance sky-high as I work out and helps my to retain a mad-man mentality as I bust the weights out. It is a little on the expensive side, however once you overlook that part it really is a great supplement to add to your arsenal. Also, during cardio it kept my focus and alertness sharp, not allowing me to waver as pain consumed me. One of the most noticable side-effects of Purple WrAAth is the tingling sensation most experience upon consuming it. This is natural, and tends to go away with further use. The taste is also exceptional, with me preferring the lemonade version, however the grape being at least bearable. Purple WrAAth also mixes pretty well, just shaking it will do, however it's not like it dissolves instantly or anything. I like it, and switch it in and out here and there, but for the most part it is a great supplement that everyone should have the honor of using.

I am a long time user of BCAA products, i took it upon myself to look into the researches done on both bcaa and eaa's, to find eaa's may be more beneficial, so i went to make the switch, and purple wraath was quite popular, so it was my product of choice.
Taste-wise, really good on the purple-lemonade. I really enjoy the taste, sipping it through my workout is awesome. I am not a huge fan of teh grape, too strong, downable by all means, not terrible, but not a flavor i would want to drink routinely.

recovery is great with this product, i have a tendancy to feel less sore the day after a really intense workout, thats a huge bonus, as much as i love DOMS, being able to walk the day after is always great.

energy is pretty good, not a stim product, so you dont get the burst, but you have stamina to get you through your workouts.

good product! look into it if you need an amino acid product.

Purple Wraath is a nice intraworkout supplement. I drink it on my to the gym and during my workout and I do feel that tingling so I know it's working. I notice more vascularity and more energy in general. I feel like my workouts last a bit longer with PW. I would recommend it definitely.

I purchased a small tub of this product just for the great ingredient profile alone. I used this product as an Intra workout product by sipping it throughout my workout in the gym. First thing i noticed was that the grape flavoring was disgusting, i guess im just not a grape guy, but it was horrible. I had to choke it down. I did continue use of product as long as i could before the taste was just too much for me. Now as a product to just chug i could have handled it but to sip it. no. the ingredient profile of this product is great though, im a big fan of amino acid product. I do suggest this as a intra workout product if you can stand the flavoring.

Purple Wraath is a sort of jack-of-all-trades...contains EAA and BCAA, but also enhances focus, stamina, endurance and strength. Although it makes a lot of claims, PW lives up to all of them - there have been days where I was exhausted halfway through my workout, but once I whipped out the Wraath, I felt like a new man. Great taste and that funky beta-alanine prickling sensation so you know it's actually working. Like most CL products, it's not a bad price either, definitely worth the purchase.

i tried this awile back from a few samples i received with an order. i know not much can be said when you have only used the product a few times but those few times i did use the product i really liked it. i got a nice pump, good energy, and great focus during these workouts. not to mention the flavor was great and mixing was easy. the ingredient profile really speaks for itself not to mention the many other positive reviews this product recieves. ive since moved to more bulk products to save money but when my job kicks up i plan to buy a couple tubs of this stuff and would suggest it to anyone looking for an eaa product

Oh great, another BCAA drink that comes in grape flavor. Well, let's see what it has to offer...

Energy - BCAAs always seem to impact me positively in terms of endurance. This product is no different. However, this also has Beta-Alanine which also helps. Just don't expect to go like Lance Armstrong by taking this.

Recovery - Yup, just like any other BCAA product, this helps a lot with DOMS. Good ol' BCAAs at work again, great.

Taste - This is some strong stuff. This is the BCAA drink equivalent of moonshine. It takes a great deal of water to dilute the flavor of this stuff. Once diluted to the proper level, this flavor tastes damned good. Think grape Tootsie Pop, and that's precisely what this tastes like.

It's just a shame that only two flavors of this are offered. Kudos to Scivation for the variety of good Xtend flavors.

Ease of Mixing - It mixes just fine in a shaker cup - what more can I say?

Value - Oh Controlled Labs, how you offer such great values. Purple Wraath does not fail to impress here. Serving of BCAA per serving of BCAA this product outdoes nearly every other on the market. The addition of Beta-Alanine makes this a monster contender.

Overall, this is a fantastic BCAA product. Xtend and the Wraath are head-to-head in my book. I think Purple Wraath may have the edge in value, and the taste is even better than most of Xtend flavors, in my opinion. The bottom line is that you can't really go wrong by purchasing this product.
