We have been overwhelmed by the amazing success of Muscle Milk®. If there has been one repeated request, it’s “Make Muscle Milk with less fat and fewer calories, but keep the SAME GREAT MUSCLE MILK TASTE!” Well… we heard you. Introducing Muscle Milk Light – Same Great Performance – Same Great Taste – 1/3 the FAT and 44% FEWER CALORIES than original Muscle Milk.

Muscle Milk Light is scientifically designed for individuals who want to maximize lean muscle gains while reducing caloric intake to help with weight management or weight loss. Maintaining healthy blood sugar levels is the key to responsible weight control. Snack cravings and low energy levels are often the result of poor blood sugar management. With proper management, you don’t have to sacrifice how you feel while you change how you look.

I have been wanting to try muscle milk for a while, unfortunately i couldnt find a good deal on a tub, but i did get a good deal on the muscle milk light, so i gave that one a try.
its primarily casein, which is great simply because the only time i wanted to use it was before bed. I usually take a scoop or 2 before hittin the sack at the end of the night, just to tie me over, usually with milk and added fish oil to help prolong digestion.
i cant say if its effected results possitively or negatively.

important stuff, the taste is good, not great, something just seems off to me. and mixibility is fine, no issues what so ever

Everybody is familiar with MuscleMilk and its great taste, but many wanted a version that is lighter and included less fight. MuscleMilk Light was the answer from Cytosport. It almost has half as many calories, but the taste is almost good as good. I got the Vanilla Creme and mixed it in milk. It mixed decent and taste was excellent. Also, it has 1/3 less fat than the popular MuscleMilk. I think Cytosport has hit a homerun with its consumers on this. They have the popular MuscleMilk which taste great and will have you packing on quality muscle with the extra pounds. Now, they have the light version that will be just as refreshing, but less fat content. It is a win-win for all. It is not the cheapest protein, but MuscleMilk is one of the better tasting.

A diet version of the original muscle milk that in my opinion works just as well. So this one is for the people who do not want to build massive muscle but rather keep a good body weight. It has only about 1/3 of carbs, calories and sugars, so it is much better for keeping a healthy diet, but not compromising your muscle building supplement. I am actually still testing this now, i have used it for about 2 weeks, and i have gotten very similar results to when i used muscle milk regular (i need to start watching my sugar intake :). I feel i still get a lot more out of my lifting than with no supplement.

Late on the night of December 25th,
I received this most awesome gift.
It came wrapped in paper shining bright,
I opened it to reveal Muscle Milk Light!
Delicious taste with only 6 grams of fat
And more protein than you can shake a stick at!

Ok, I'm done. Muscle Milk Light is the 'diet' version of regular Muscle Milk, only 195 calories per serving but still packing 25g protein of both slow and quick digesting protein. More attractive nutritional stats than most RTDs/bars, so it's a nice MRP, and the Chocolate Mint taste was awesome, just what you'd expect, mixability was great as well. A solid product if you're cutting but still want that unbeatable MM taste. If you're not cutting though, I'd stick with regular Muscle Milk for those extra MCTs and calories. This is higher in carbs than regular MM, if that's an issue for you. Downside - price.

(Admin: This review applies to the Banana Creme flavour.)

I baught this product for my wife to use in the mornings as a meal replacement so she could get breakfast in before work, as she does not usually eat breakfast. she found it took to much time to mix and I acquired the powder. I mixed the product with 8 ounces of 1% milk and used a shaker cup. taste was great! just like a banana smoothie, the ingredient profile is great as well, thought the fat content is cut back since it is the "lite" version. Powder mixed quite well with the shaker with no gritty taste. I suggest this to anyone looking for a meal replacement powder more then a strict protein powder, and also someone who wants a powder with a little less fat then the traditional muscle milk.
