(Admin: This is for the Nutritional Shake RTD variety.)

Banana Creme

I was really surprised when I found this at my grocery store, rather than a supplement shop, so I had to pick it up. With around 200 calories, it's not exactly an MRP, but it does pack in 25g of protein - Caseinite, WPI and whey, so it's a nice blend. It also has MCTs and just 12g carbs, only 3g sugar. It also has 20 vitamins and minerals, which make it better than most sugar alcohol-filled bars. Oh, and the taste - Muscle Milk at its finest. Delicious, creamy, and hard to believe it's not full of sugar. Not too great of a deal money-wise, but it's good in a pinch, especially if you're low-carbing it.

Muscle Milk is perhaps the most well-known supplement in the industry, and its popularity is probably due in large part to its taste. With a ridiculous number of flavors, you'd be hard-pressed to not find something satisfying. Some complain that MM has a lot of fat, but most of it comes from MCTs, which are more likely to be used as energy than stored, so no worries there. The nice thing about MM is that it has multiple protein sources with different rates of digestion, as well as ZERO lactose. Awesome. MM mixes very well and produces thick shakes, which I love.

Flavors I've tried so far are Cookies and Cream and Cake Batter. The Cookies and Cream has a great taste, nice rich vanilla milkshake flavor with cookie pieces, kind of like a crushed-up Oreo taste overall.

The Cake Batter is a bit bland, not much flavor, similar to Angel Food Cake but not very strong. It's pleasant but I would not purchase it again.

The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is pretty good - not quite a cookie dough taste but not as horrible as other brands' attempts at the flavor. It's distinct from the Cookies n Cream, which is nice, though it doesn't quite nail that classic, raw eggs and butter taste.

The biggest (and maybe only) downside to MM is the cost- 16 servings will run close to $30, which may not be a big deal to you, but I'd rather not pay $2 per serving of a powder, for that price you could pick up an RTD.

MuscleMilk by Cytosport is usually known for its great taste and good ingredients. The Cake Batter flavor might be the best flavor created by the people at Cytosport. The ingredient profile includes milk protein isolates, whey protein concentrate, and whey peptides that helps your muscles get the nourishment they need before and after workouts. It is easy to mix in a blender. I mixed two scoops with 10 fl. oz. of water in a blender shaking it for 30 seconds. There was no clumping. Soon, I will look forward to mixing it in milk which means it was taste even better. This stuff is amazing. It can get pretty addictive, so I suggest you limit yourself because you might destroy the whole container in a matter of days. If you have some few extra bucks to spend, I would recommend this product.

Everyone who works out consistently should use some type of protein shake. My protein of choice is Muscle Milk because not only is it a good source of protein but it also provides me with a good amount of vitamins, fats, and carbs to refuel me and keep me in an anabolic state. Usually I take it pre-bed so that the slow-digesting proteins can last throughout the night and keep me anti-catabolic. It is also good when used postworkout to keep my body active. I have gained great size and great weight with this while keep my bodyfat very low. The pricing is quite annoying but a product like this is always essential. Lastly, the carbs in this product do not turn directly to fat and store away but burn off after using the product to ensure low bodyfat gains.

Im a big fan of Muscle milk when im bulking, when cutting i would recommend take a look at Muscle Milk light. Cytosport made it well with this product, its highlight definitely.

Muscle milk its more like a meal replacement than just protein, you can use it at morning, at night, as meal replacement or as POST, like many ( but i suggest Whey for this scenario ).

In terms of taste, all feedback is right, i tried a lot of flavors and there is no one that i can't take it yet, all taste so damn good and you never get used to them. I can recommend you PB Chocolate, Chocolate malt, Caramel swirl, Vanilla, Cinnamon bun, Cookies and cream and Chocolate mint, a lot of flavors but when you taste them, its like being in heaven, lol!.

The ingredient profile its very decent, some claims that it needs to up the protein content but i think at 32g its an equal amount that wont be wasted like many protein blends containing up to 60g of protein. At 300+ healthy cals ( without milk ) you can't go wrong with this one for either, bulking or cutting ( depending on your macros ).

The price its decent, it worth it and many users agree on that, you wont be disappointed of trying it, i suggest you give it a try to ANY flavor. Plus it keeps you full for a while.
