Basic Cuts is a thermogenic fat burner designed to meet the needs of the premier athlete. Phenylethylamine & Hordenine
Phenylethylamine (PEA) exerts a stimulatory effect in the brain through its effect on the beta-adrenergic and dopamine receptors. Through these mechanisms, PEA not only increases attention and activity but can also elevate mood significantly. And of course, significantly promote the use of fat for fuel.

Hordenine is included in Basic Cuts™ in order to make PEA orally bioavailable. It does this by inhibiting the enzyme MAO-B, and as consequence, dopamine activity is also prolonged. During dieting, dopamine is of particular importance because it is generally theorized to be the body’s means of communication between the brain and the anti-starvation hormone Leptin. Additionally, dopamine is also associated with nutrient partitioning, mood, appetite and a whole host of other biochemical functions.

Cayenne Pepper & Caffeine
Cayenne pepper rapidly boosts metabolic rate and promotes carbohydrate oxidation during exercise and at rest. This means increased calorie burning and fat loss. Cayenne also assists in appetite suppression, something that can become a critical factor for even the most strong-willed dieter. It also has a synergistic quality for reducing food intake and increasing energy expenditure in combination with the final ingredient in the profile – caffeine.

Caffeine acts in the brain by antagonizing (blocking) adenosine A1 and A2A receptors, inhibiting the breakdown of Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (cAMP). Adenosine typically slows nerve cell activity, initiating a relaxed type of environment similar to the state experienced during sleep. By antagonizing adenosine, this effect is in fact reversed and nerve cell activity is increased, leading to fat burning and stimulation.

Basic cuts is a really simple fat burner, hence the name "basic cuts" its more or less designed to be stacked with a non-stimulant fat burner. Primary ingredient is caffeine, so its great for early morning or pre-workout energy boosts, and the cayenne really does effect the thermo effect. the amount of PEA unfortunately i do not think is strong enough to feel. Nonetheless, i have used about 2 bottles, and still have a third as i have gotten them free when ordering Lean Xtreme. when stacked with a non-stim like LX, it can really help produce great results. Also, for those running EC stacks, you can easily use Basic Cuts as the "C" portion as there is not much else in there to conflict with the E. I had good experiences with it.
