Written by soundcheck129 - #1 reviewer - View all my reviews I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to see that the regular Detour Whey Protein bar only had 11 grams of sugar, as the brand makes such a big deal out of its lower sugar bar that I was afraid these would be loaded with sugar. These are decently sized bars, with 350 calories and 30 grams of protein each. Although they are called "whey protein bars," they actually contain some milk protein and calcium caseinate for a bit of extended release action. The bars are higher in fat than most, but do provide CLA. Carbohydrate content is moderate, with 32 grams overall and four grams of fiber. Not many vitamins or minerals, but these bars do contain extra leucine and taurine. Oddly, the taste of these bars (or at least this flavor) isn't as spectacular as the lower sugar bars. But it's still tasty. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful

Good ingredient profile is very attractive and the fact that it does not contain alcohol sugar gets it top marks from me. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful

Written by vtwizzie - Top 10 reviewer - View all my reviews The issue I have with these bars is that for the price, they are a little small. I'd like more in my bar for the price that I'm paying, and Detour bars are a little lacking. However, if you're looking for a good (not great) tasting bar with solid ingredients, these may be one to consider. 0 of 1 people found the following review helpful

Detour bars are great meal replacements, they have an equal amount of each macronutrient an a decent amount of calories as a whole meal. The taste is so good, there is no bad taste or after taste and its easy to over eat them. The Low sugar version of Detour bars its my prefered, its a much more healthier choice with only a few grams of sugar and high amount of protein. You can try them at some local places that sell them individually and judge by yourself. I recommend them. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
