Optimum pretty much would be the number one name for protein. Biggest upside to their protein is the variety in flavors and sizes in tubs; you dont have to obligate to a 10lb bag until you've tried it.
I personally am not a big optimum person simply because the pricing of it continues to raise, and at a faster rate than other products, but when i have a little side cash and i'm making an order i'll toss in a smal 1lb tub of a new flavor to try.
all the flavors i have used have tasted GREAT and mixed even better. definately cannot complain their. i personally prefer most of the flavors mixed with milk, but water still works fine.
favorite flavor at this time would be root beer float

I, like many others, fell prey to Optimum Nutrition's superior marketing and attractive labeling. Fortunately, they aren't hiding a sub-par product behind all that hype. 100% Whey Gold Standard is a high quality protein power, in my book. It has a great amino profile, lots of glutamine, and it tastes great to boot. On top of all that, it mixes effortlessly in a shaker bottle. I have tried extreme milk chocolate, double rich chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. The only one I really didn't like was the vanilla - but I think I'm the same way with all vanilla protein. I'd recommend ON Whey to anyone - beginner or pro. Just remember to keep switching up protein products - keep your body guessing.

Whenever someone asks me about protein they typically bring up the name Optimum. Apparently this is one of the main brands people know besides Muscle Milk. In turn, I feel this has created the product to be sold at a much higher cost than it should, as I have seen the price increase on this product like crazy. This is your typically whey protein with the isolates, bcaas, and other nutrients with it. The taste is very good, depending on the flavor you choose, I got some kind of off flavor that was just terrible. Mixes good with water or milk--may leave clumps here and there, not as bad as most though. Altogether a solid whey protein product for a lot of money. If you can afford to shell out the money for this each and every time, get it.

If I where rich, this would be the whey protein I buy every time. This product mixes in anything (in a shaker, blender, or a glass with a spoon). The various flavours tickle the taste buds, but my personal favourite is chocolate. In water, it tastes bland. But I like that as it is very easy to chug down. In milk, it tastes like chocolate milk. It is clear that top notch high quality ingredients are used. The biggest issue that is with this protein is the price. It is one of the most expensive out there. But for what you get, this is by far one of the best whey protein blends out there. If you have the money, I suggest you buy some of this protein.

This gold standard protein is my personal favorite protein out on the market today. Each scoop of powder contains 24 grams of protein!! This is a good supplement for getting lean muscle or huge muscle mass just depending on how you take it. The product overall tastes pretty good and if you get the vanilla flavor it tastes good with just about anything you put into it. Especially frozen fruit. This is a great meal replacement supplement to add into your diet if you don't think your getting all the propper nutrients you need to gain muscle. I would highly recommened it to anybody.
