Written by soundcheck129 - #1 reviewer - View all my reviews Wow. PEA is one hell of a drug. Effects lasting for around an hour, feelings of euphoria and heightened senses, really spaced out, floating sensations but I was still able to retain my focus, balance, motor skills. Felt better than an alcohol buzz, no ill effects during or after, and I felt in control for the entire 'trip.' The only downside was that my skin turned noticeably red. Otherwise, this is a great alcohol/illicit drug alternative that lets you remain in control while still feeling great. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful

Written by ponshoe - Top 5 reviewer - View all my reviews PEA improves your brain a lot. It gives you mental clearness, alertness improved, well mood and focus. Actually i've found more success from using it for study purposes rather than bodybuilding lol. It makes me focus more on subject and avoid distractors (of course you need to have initiative ). Those that feel weird sometimes, without energy and without concentration and focus, should look further into PEA supplements, they are cheap, they work and you have nothing to lose with them, they are very safe. Unique nutrition was the one i've tried, so i recommend it to anyone, plus there's a new version that is Double strength. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful

Written by bpanepucci - Top 50 reviewer - View all my reviews I first became apparent of the effects PEA had on my mood when I first tried a sample of Gaspari's Cytolean. It was an amazing experience, but I wasn't quite sure if just the PEA was responsible for it, so Steve sent me some Unique Nutrition PEA to try (thanks again, Steve!). Being that I don't drink, I wanted to recreationally try something for my mood. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/uniq/pea.html Dosing The bottle says 1-2 caps daily, which I felt was sort of a low dose. It took a while of experimenting with the doses to find my "sweet spot". Sometimes it was hit or miss, not feeling the effects 100%, but the effects were very noticeable when it did work for me. 1-3 caps - Felt nothing, even on an empty stomach. 4+ caps - This is where PEA seemed to work best for me. 3 caps, on an empty stomach, then 3 caps 15 mins later gave me sort of a euphoric feeling, a sense of well being, and made me smile a lot. Light feeling in the back of the head, which was a strange but neat feeling. 4+ caps with stimulants - Improved focus and mental acuity. I feel it worked best with AN's RPM before a workout. I have read that PEA with the use of an MAO-B inhibitor such as hordenine or Deprenyl makes using PEA a much more enjoyable experience, and the feeling lasts longer. I have not tried it with one, except for the use of Cytolean. I am definitely going to want to try some more/different nootropics (so many damn ones to choose from), as focus seems to always be a hard thing to attain. |
