0 forum posts What qualities mark the true nature of a perfect protein powder? We asked this question when developing essence. We realized rather quickly that the run-of-the-mill protein powders could never measure up to the true nature of perfect protein powder. Those ordinary protein powders contain only one source of low quality protein, clump when stirred into liquid, contain a ton of fat and sugar, taste terrible, and produce a chalky or gritty mouthfeel. If you are currently using protein powder which matches these characteristics then we recommend that you throw it straight into the trash! User reviews Price comparisons

Written by DZL - Top 50 reviewer - View all my reviews The protein powder is made to preserve muscle, it's more along the lines of a slow digesting casein powder than a faster digesting whey powder, even though it has both in it. It doesn't really increase muscle mass, but it greatly prevents one from loosing it when you go to bed, so i think it's helped me in my lifts though just by preventing muscle breakdown at night..which is a Godsend. I noticed it mixes well AND tastes great too..The days after my workouts im still sore but i really reduces that "im gonna take a week off from the gym" feeling..the label doesnt lie. OH, and it's got plenty of BCAA's and EAA in it, which we all know causes nitrogen retention resulting in more muscle post workout..honestly it's good shit..no joke |
