0 forum posts Real Gains is an extremely powerful mass-cultivating support formula that was created with you, a hardcore active and athletic individual, in mind. Real Gains has more of what you want and less of what you don't: more calories, more protein, more good fats, more taste, more fiber and far less sugar. You want to gain, muscle mass that is, and the right way to do that is with large amounts of protein, which you will find in every scoop of Real Gains, and by cutting fat intake. Rest assured Universal use only the finest whey protein and micellar casein available on the market. They didn't skimp on things that are important and neither should you. Written by phrozen5100 - Top 5 reviewer - View all my reviews Taste - I've tried only vanilla. The taste is decent - definitely better than the horrible ON Vanilla Ice Cream but not as good as Body Fortress Vanilla. For whatever reason, I was really sick and tired of this flavor by the time I finished my tub. It most likely has to do with the mass quantities of this I would drink at one time. I'd imagine my experience would have been much more pleasant with a blender. Ease of Mixing - As far as weight gainers go, this mixes better than any other I've used. You certainly can't expect WPI mixing, but it does not leave large clumps of powder, unlike many gainers. Once again, I've never used this in a blender, but I'm sure it's great there. Value - Real gains, real value - no kidding. This has a good nutrition profile for the price as well as its other attributes. The amount of fiber the inulin adds is nearly negligible, but at least they tried here. Caseins are added as well which help to the point of value. Overall, this is a solid weight gainer. However, I would not purchase it again. Not necessarily because of its unique flaws, but rather because I can create my own much healthier/tastier weight gainer for slightly cheaper. Like most weight gainers, Real Gains is plagued by the base ingredient maltodextrin. You want a good weight gainer? 1.5 scoops whey + peanut butter + oats + optional banana all blended together. You're too lazy to do that? Then by all means, this product may be for you. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful

Written by ponshoe - Top 5 reviewer - View all my reviews The taste is very decent on all flavors. Chocolate my favorite, then Banana and Strawberry followed by Vanilla. It mixes well on either, a shaker or a blender. Homemade gainers are usually cheap but they can take you some time to make them, with real gains you just need a shaker and youre set. Also you can add some other ingredients like Peanut butter, fruits, yogurth or whatever you want to add even more calories. A staple when im bulking, acutally i see it like a dessert. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful

Written by yohead - Top 10 reviewer - View all my reviews Each shake mixes up good; however, sometimes the shakes get to be a little too thick and I sometimes have to shake them harder and longer or I need a blender. Real gains is the real deal and was essential to me during my bulking stages last fall. I was able to successfully put on quality mass while avoiding insane fat gains. This product is a solid value that should be used by anyone looking to bulk up. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

Written by chada618 - View all my reviews Universal Real Gains tastes natural, it doesnt have that artificial sweetener-like taste like many supplements out there. Im currently taking the Vanilla flavor and its great. It tastes like a vanilla milkshake. I sometimes like to add a banana and/or some peanut butter for some extra calories and it does the trick. With milk, im taking in an extra 900 calories. That is amazing! And after drinking the shake, i do not feel overly full or bloated which is a great relief. So i say to anyone looking to bulk up but cant seem to get in enough calories, Univeral Real Gains is for you. |
