Strawberry Ice Cream

Real Gains is not your average gainer - it contains flaxseed oil, casein, and only six grams of sugar - impressive for something that has 88 total carbs! The serving size is 618 calories and provides 54 grams of protein, very solid. Taste isn't the best, but it does appear to have little pieces of strawberry in it, which is cool. No chemical taste, and a little creaminess. Mixability isn't anything to write home about, but a solid product nonetheless.

Real Gains...the only way to true manhood, I'd been told. So I set forth, and I purchased my real manhood from bodybuilding.com

Taste - I've tried only vanilla. The taste is decent - definitely better than the horrible ON Vanilla Ice Cream but not as good as Body Fortress Vanilla. For whatever reason, I was really sick and tired of this flavor by the time I finished my tub. It most likely has to do with the mass quantities of this I would drink at one time. I'd imagine my experience would have been much more pleasant with a blender.

Ease of Mixing - As far as weight gainers go, this mixes better than any other I've used. You certainly can't expect WPI mixing, but it does not leave large clumps of powder, unlike many gainers. Once again, I've never used this in a blender, but I'm sure it's great there.

Value - Real gains, real value - no kidding. This has a good nutrition profile for the price as well as its other attributes. The amount of fiber the inulin adds is nearly negligible, but at least they tried here. Caseins are added as well which help to the point of value.

Overall, this is a solid weight gainer. However, I would not purchase it again. Not necessarily because of its unique flaws, but rather because I can create my own much healthier/tastier weight gainer for slightly cheaper. Like most weight gainers, Real Gains is plagued by the base ingredient maltodextrin.

You want a good weight gainer? 1.5 scoops whey + peanut butter + oats + optional banana all blended together. You're too lazy to do that? Then by all means, this product may be for you.

The first thing I looked for in a weight gainer product was the protein content, and how much sugar it had. This product had plenty of protein, and had a low sugar content. Of all the weight gainer I found, they were all loaded with too much sugar, or were too pricey. Real Gains was one of the only ones that fit my criteria, and was within my price range. The taste was mediocre, nothing too special, but nothing great. The mixability is great especially at the dosage per serving. It does have some simple sugars, so this would be a better pre/during/after workout shake, but it would still suffice as a meal replacement. Overall I would definitely recommend this weight gainer if you need to put on some weight without putting on excessive amounts of fat like you would with other weight gainers.

Universal Real Gains its by far my favorite weight gainer. It does have the right amount of macro and micro nutrients to make it a complete and healthy meal replacement with high calories. Most of cheap weight gainers are dirty or junk cuz they carrie lots of carbs ( mainly sugars ) that appear to be better cuz they are higher on cals, but this one its healthy with only complex carbs and 5g of sugar, plus it has some healthy fats like MCT and inulin. Another pro of this gainer its the fact that it contains a blend of Whey and Micellar Casein, so it helps you being more anabolic more time.

The taste is very decent on all flavors. Chocolate my favorite, then Banana and Strawberry followed by Vanilla. It mixes well on either, a shaker or a blender. Homemade gainers are usually cheap but they can take you some time to make them, with real gains you just need a shaker and youre set. Also you can add some other ingredients like Peanut butter, fruits, yogurth or whatever you want to add even more calories.

A staple when im bulking, acutally i see it like a dessert.
