Written by soundcheck129 - #1 reviewer - View all my reviews A truly unique blend of slow and fast digesting proteins, namely whey isolate and micellar casein, UP 2.0 is great any time of day. In addition, it contains MCTs, which are fats that actually help boost your metabolism and immune system. Mixability is excellent, it makes a nice, thick shake. By far the best part, though, is the flavor. Strawberry seems to be a tricky flavor to nail down, but XF hit it right on the head. UP 2.0 tastes quite gourmet, like a rich, delicious milkshake that you'd never suspect to have 18 grams of high quality protein included. Chocolate Peanut Butter is unimaginably awesome. I found it hard to believe this would taste as good as people said it would but DAMN. While eating this, I was sure I had accidentally scooped in brownie batter instead. Great fudgy, brownie-esque taste with a nice, well balanced peanut butter taste blended in. Simply incredible, this narrowly overtakes Raspberry Lemonade Cytofuse as the best tasting supplement I've ever had. Banana Cream also possesses a mind-blowing flavor, so good you won't want to put it down. If you've ever had good southern banana pudding, that's the taste you'll find here. Rich, not overly sweet, almost a cake batter hint in there too. Amazing. Unfortunately, the Cookies and Cream flavor does not live up to the high standard set by the other flavors. It is a lot more "cream" than "cookie," and tastes similar to angel food cake batter, light and a bit sweet. The flavor is a bit weak, in my opinion. Thankfully, the end of the year also brings with it Christmas - and I hope to find some UP 2.0 under my tree. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

Written by veeshmack - Top 5 reviewer - View all my reviews For the product itself, i tried PB Choc and Banana Cream. For me banana cream took the win easily. Using milk, it mixed easily and tasted fantastic. As for PB Choc, it did not mix well at all, it tended to clump at the bottom creating a goo which was not very enjoyable to deal with when cleaning or trying to get the most of the product. if you are a casein user, this product is solid and tastes great 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

Written by vtwizzie - Top 10 reviewer - View all my reviews The ingredient profile is highlighted by Micellar Casein protein, which is a slower digesting protein ideal for use in sustaining an anti-catabolic muscle state. The other ingredients include WPI and healthy fats, which only boost the quality of this product. Overall UP 2.0 is worth the money - if you're willing to shell it out, as it is a little on the expensive end when it comes to protein powders. Best bet is to find a deal somewhere online, and stock up because this is a solid powder that can be used anytime, made by a reputable company. |
