Dark Chocolate Cookies and Cream

I've heard a lot about Zone Perfect bars, so I finally decided to see what the fuss was about. This was a unique flavor, and it was pretty well done - actual chocolate flavor (which is rare), with some creaminess to it. I liked the consistency, as it was a lot like a candy bar, moreso than the typical protein bar. Unfortunately, it wasn't very filling, with only 190 calories. I also didn't like that there are more grams of sugar (14) than of protein (12). This doesn't make it the best choice nutritionally, but it is a nice snack. Of course, paying upwards of $2 for a low-calorie bar isn't something I'm going to be doing often. However, if you don't need that much protein and just want a tasty snack, then by all means pick this up - they have a ton of flavors (though I can't speak for any but this one).

The zone protein bar is a very cheap, good protein bar. They come in bulk for like 50 cents a bar, which i think a real good deal. Each bar gives you 15 or so grams of protein, which is not a lot, but you can get some from other places too. The bar comes in 2 flavors i have seen, though im pretty sure theres more. there is like strawberry yogurt flavor and chocolate fudge flavor. Both taste pretty good. The only downside to the protein bar is that it has a little high amount of sugar and fat, in comparison with the size of the bar. If you are not dieting, you should be fine.
