Allmax finally has a casein, and it's similar to Isoflex in that it is pure casein, with minimal fat and carbohydrates. Each scoop provides 102 calories, with no fat, 4 grams of carbohydrates - 2 g of fiber and 2 g of sugar - and 25 grams of protein. In addition to the naturally occurring amino acids, this has extra BCAAs, particularly leucine, which is nice for an added anabolic effect. There are also added digestive enzymes, which is nice for those who have lactose digestion issues, because casein shakes can be rough.

The texture of this is surprisingly smooth for a casein, with no grittiness or sandiness, just a nice, thick-mixing shake. The chocolate casein has a bit of a light flavor, not overly rich, while the vanilla flavor has a bold, sweet flavor that is quite delicious. Can't go wrong with either. If you really want some deliciousness, mix some Peanut Butter Chocolate Isoflex with the chocolate casein...you'll thank me.
