To paraphrase The Most Interesting Man in the World commercials - I don't always eat protein bars for dinner, but when I do, it's two at a time because I haven't eaten all day and am starving. I picked this bar because it seemed an excusable substitute for part of a meal, given the broad array of vitamins and minerals, including 200 percent of the RDA for vitamin B12 and 100 percent each of the RDA for vitamins C and E. I say part of a meal because the bar is just 200 calories, though it offers 15 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. It's a tad high in sugar with 11 grams but has only 2.5 grams of saturated fat (7 grams total). Any flaws in the profile can be forgiven once you consider the great taste - staying true to its name, this struck a great balance of sweet and savory, with a rich chocolate flavor and tasty granola. The consistency was also impressive, nothing like a normal protein bar, more like *gasp* actual food.
