Cookies and Creme

Low-carb protein bars are quite the rare breed, so picking up the Power Crunch bar was a nice change from the ordinary. Each 205-calorie bar provides just 10 grams of carbohydrates, with 1 gram of fiber and 5 grams of sugar. The bar is a bit low in protein, with 14 grams, and is high in fat, with 12 grams total, 5 grams saturated. While the profile is appropriate for low-carb/high-fat diets, it may not be ideal for everyone. However, this is a pretty large bar for the calorie content, and the crunchiness is a nice twist on the ordinary protein bar. It has the same consistency as those Voortman wafers that your (or at least my) grandparents always seemed to have in stock. This flavor tasted like a standard cookies and creme whey, not quite an Oreo taste, but pretty good.
