Written by MBSowards - Top 50 reviewer - View all my reviews In the time that I've used Purple Wraath, I have used other supplements that intend on decreasing muscle soreness, increasing endurance, etc. and I can plainly say that as of right now the only one I can say is without a doubt at the top, is Purple Wraath. I normally did 2 scoops, so the tub lasted me about 45 workouts. Taste: 10/10. At first I didn't like the taste, but once I drank it a few times, I found myself craving it. Wish they had something other than grape, but for now, the grape is pretty damn good. Ingredient Profile: 10/10. It's all in there, everything you need for the product to do what it needs to do. Some people say there is more blah blah in other products blah blah blah, but shut up and add another scoop. In comparison, it takes like 30 scoops of Xtend to reach an effective dose. Effectiveness: 13/10. I can honestly say that my workouts haven't changed much from the time that I started purple wraath. Weights have gone up, but routines have stayed basically the same. I can't remember being sore while on PW, and now I'm getting DOMS weekly. Much be good stuff, eh? Cost Effectiveness: 10/10. Any time you see a serving size of 90, even if you use more than serving a day, it's probably going to be cost effective. I've had this tub for what seems like forever and there is still some left. In my opinion, it is a great priced supplement, and even double dosed you get a month and a half worth! Overall Thoughts on the product: I always see people arguing over Xtend vs. Purple Wraath. So much so that when I saw people talking about Xtend being better I IMMEDIATELY bought some Xtend. I was nothing but disappointed with Xtend to be honest. DOMS like crazy after my workout, etc. All Xtend has going for it, in my opinion, is multiple flavors (especially watermelon). Purple Wraath is definitely my favorite "endurance" type of product. If you haven't tried it, I would definitely consider picking some up. A lot of people are saying it's cardio this and that, but I used it for both cardio AND weight training. No DOMS= completely satisfied with the product. Would I purchase it again? Not only will I buy it again when I have enough money to make another purchase (which could be years at this point, I'm poor and in college making like 20 dollars a month as an RA) but I would consider it a staple if I was able to afford it all the time. It's not expensive, but my lack of money is even more impressive than the price. lol. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

Written by nyg99 - View all my reviews Purple WrAAth is a blend of Essential Amino Acids that provide an amazing increase in stamina the very first time you use the product. Controlled Labs has established a reputation for creating inexpensive effective products. The creation of Purple WrAAth is no different. The product can be found at online retailers for under $50. While the price tag may seem high, Purple WrAAth has 90 servings per bottle. The juicy grape flavor has been improved since the products inception several years ago. I have been using this product since Version 1, and the current version (3) is an absolute treat to drink. Perhaps the best part of Purple WrAAth is its use for cardio. While cutting I like to drink a half serving immediately before, and other half during my runs. Once you try it you will never want to do cardio without it. Another aspect of the product that is intriguing is that it can be used as a preworkout energy drink without stimulants. This is good for those who still want a little boost but may be sensitive to caffeine, yohimbine, etc. Positives: +Increased stamina and endurance +Delicious taste +$0.56/serving +Doubles as preworkout energy Negatives: -Does not mix very well, but no Amino Acid product does. It is best to put in a bottle and periodically shake/swirl. Bottom Line: Purple WrAAth is easily one of the most effective and worthwhile supplements on the market today. It has become a staple in my supplement regime and after 7 bottles I have yet to see diminishing returns. I will continue to use WrAAth for my entire bodybuilding lifetime. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
