Thank you, GNC clearance rack. Scored a box at an obscene discount, so I didn't mind getting this flavor. Well, until I tried it. These don't taste absolutely disgusting, but they are not very good. Just a weird flavor that makes it seem like Cytosport didn't have a solid idea in mind when creating these. As far as the profile, I'm not sure the negatives outweigh the positives - 25 grams of a great blend of proteins is nice, but there are plenty of flaws too. 14 grams of sugar makes this a lot like a candy bar and unfriendly to dieters; Partially-Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil makes it unpleasant to anyone; and 8 grams of saturated fat in just 290 calories (with no CLA or MCTs) is probably going to irritate people as well. The profile isn't terrible, but I'd prefer a better one to put up with the so-so flavoring.
