This is a great product line from Dymatize. This is another 'plain old whey' formula, but is composed primarily of whey isolates and includes various digestive enzymes.

Taste - This stuff tastes absolutely amazing! I've tried both Cafe Mocha and Chocolate Mint and it was sheer pleasure to down these shakes. Chocolate Mint was an extremely refreshing flavor, but Cafe Mocha has a better overall taste, in my opinion. Given that these are somewhat unique flavors for a protein, I can't really compare them directly to others. However, I preferred these flavors far more than any ON 100% flavor I've tried.

Ease of Mixing - Once again, this stuff does a great job of mixing. It's not quite as good as some pure isolates like Syntrax Nectar, but it's not a hellish chore like ON 100% Casein.

Value - This stuff is priced pretty well with a solid protein profile and digestive enzymes.

Other - It may seem minor, but this protein bottle is a well designed one. It actually has a handle conveniently placed in the lid. The digestive enzymes are a great addition for reducing the potential for massive protein farts.

Overall, this is a great regular whey protein product. It really boils down to taste at this price range. It's really a shame that this protein is overshadowed by the over-pimped ON 100% Whey. Before you hop aboard the 'ON 100% Whey is the only whey!' band wagon, give this stuff a try, it may just change your mind.

Value is the starting point.
With protein prices rising, we are all looking for an affordable protein.
Dymatize Elite Whey is the answer. With an amazing flavoring system with everything from traditional chocolate and vanilla flavors, as well as some mouth watering fruit flavors.
It mixes great and instantly. I have mixed it with skim milk, 2% milk, and water, everytime, instantly mixed with a great taste.
I no longer get bloated either with Dymatize Elite Whey. Thanks to the addition of digestive enzymes you get the best absorption of protein.

So all in all, it is low carb, low calorie, great tasting, and cost effective. Definately a good buy when you need protein

Elite whey is a great alternative to extremely popular ON’s Gold standard whey. Its also about $10 cheaper. The flavor variety isn’t as good but the consensus is that Café mocha is the best and chocolate is good too. I have tried Café mocha and its pretty good. It mixes well in both water and milk with a spoon so no blender necessary. The 10lb is deffinetly the way to go if you have the money. Its about $10 cheap than the more popular brands. At 24g of protein per serving it’s a good value. It even includes a digestive enzyme to make sure you get all that you can from it. I take one scoop in the morning hence the mocha flavor and one after my workout. Low carbs and no sugar is a very pure profile. I have started using this product everyday and love it. Highly recommend Café Mocha, stay away from green apple.

This protein is a really good value protein, and is composed mostly of whey protein isolate as opposed to concentrate. And Isolate is a higher quality protein that rates higher on the bioavailability scale, so your body can use more of it than regular concentrate. Also, isolate will not make you gassy like regular concentrate.

The taste for chocolate is really good if you don't water it down, and if you mix it with milk, it tastes great.

It kinda lumps a little, but with enough hard shaking, most of the lumps will go away, and the few that remain you won't even notice.

With the rising cost of protein these days, this protein is a definite good buy.

I'm using the cafe mocha flavour, which is the best flavour of that product IMO. I found the banana flavour, while good too, upset my stomach. The second best flavour for me is pina colada, followed by chocolate.

I use this product because it's very low in lactose, even though it's got whey concentrate in it (but whey isolate is the main ingredient). I heard it's similar in quality to Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard, which I haven't tried. People say that Elite Whey tastes better than the ON whey product. I can say that the cafe mocha is the best low carb, low fat whey (so don't compare it with Muscle Milk, which does taste way better) I've tasted. I mix it with maltodextrin and usually add a few granules of my favorite decaf to it and let it sit all day, drinking it throughout the day, to get a better coffee flavour going.
