I don't often use the phrase "waste of calories," but there aren't many other ways to describe this. It is the tiniest 400 calorie brownie I've ever seen, and though it does pack 30 grams of protein, it also has 18g sugar, 12g sugar alcohol and 12g fat - worse than an actual brownie! Apparently Met-Rx failed product design 101, as products tend to either have a lot of sugar or a lot of sugar alcohol, not both. And even with all those flavor enhancers, this still did not taste anything like a real brownie, or even remotely good by protein bar/snack standards. Next time I need 30g protein and 400 calories I'll grab a Supreme Bar - much bigger and waaaaay tastier.
