This flavor of the caffeine-free version of Ragnarok I was fortunate enough to try was Ballistic Blue Raz. It smelled like sour blue candy and tasted just as good. Very easy to mix, no clumping or residue left over. This product can be purchased for around $35, and has approximately 40 servings per tub.

I followed the recommend guidline for ingestion and consumed the whole 15g serving 30min before my heavy lifting workout (chest/tri's). I felt an energy hit after about 35min. It wasn't really that strong in the beginning but it was definitely noticeable. 30min into my workout I topped out. When compared to the caffeinated version, the non-caffeine version had considerably less "kick" and had a shorter length of effect.

I also found that once I topped out I came down very quickly. I was ready to go home with a third of my workout still to go. I was not expecting a huge jolt for the whole workout so I was not dissapointed in any way.

I would really like this for my cardio runs as I find it would give me the mental boost I need without shocking my mind and body. I would also recommend this for those who are cycling off of stimulants or are caffeine sensitive. For heavy lifting, however, I would go with the caffeinated version.

Furthermore, I would recommend the Blue Razz to those of you looking for a subtle edge to keep you motivated. It will give you the energy you need without any crash or side-effects. If you're looking for a brain "jolt" then try the caffeinated version.

Point Highlights:

-Great taste, easy to mix
-Competitively priced, includes full serving of creatine
-Energy/focus is noticeable and clean, vascularity is to par with caffeinated version
-Duration of effect my be lacking for those performing prolonged heavy lifting
-Recommended for those who are cycling of stimulants or are doing cardio training
-No crash/side effects
