Despite the name, this is rehab is one that you needn't be a rockstar or drug addict to enjoy. Rehab is the latest incarnation of Monster, this time with a unique lemonade-tea taste that is refreshing and pleasant, although with a bit too much tea for my liking (I'm not an iced tea fan). With that said, this drink does an excellent job of masking the taste of the acai, mangosteen and goji extracts, which can be prominent. Marketed as a hangover relief beverage, this Monster contains antioxidants and LCLT and, though not marketed as a low-carb product, contains just 10 calories and 3 grams of carbohydrates per 8-oz serving (two per can). Monster also kicked up the caffeine content to 170 milligrams per can, which is 10 mg more than a regular Monster. The drink also contains electrolytes and less than obscene amounts of B vitamins. I thought the alertness and mental energy aspect was more prominent than the physical energy aspect, but it does provide a buzz.
