Written by soundcheck129 - #1 reviewer - View all my reviews If you're looking for an inexpensive whey protein isolate, then Muscle Gauge Nutrition's may be for you. The price is right, and the proile appears to be as well, with 110 calories per scoop, no fat, one gram of carbohydrates and 25 grams of protein. This had a thicker consistency than most isolates provide, but it didn't clump or anything. For an isolate, the taste was pretty good, a nice rich chocolate, although it's no Isoflex, that's for sure. While most isolates aren't very filling, this one had me hungry minutes later, which is annoying. MGN has had issues with flavoring on some batches, but I didn't have a problem. The price is better than most isolates, at $43 per 5lb tub, so it's not too much more than a whey blend. Results 1 - 1 of 1 |
