When it comes to whey protein, Optimum Nutrition is one of the leaders. 100% Gold Standard Whey is a remarkable product. I can not stress enough the importance of whey protein. Whey protein builds muscle and is new gaining fame as a vasodilator. Enough of the small talk because its time for a review breakdown:

Profile: I am loving the profile listing mainly because of the 24 gram protein blend. It consists of Whey Protein Isolates, Whey Protein Concentrate, and Whey Peptides. These fast-release proteins help in muscle growth and recovery. Aminogen is known to aid in digestion. It also contains 5.5 grams of BCAA which lessens fatigue. 4 grams of Glutamine and Precursors help in muscle protection.

Mixing: Mixing should be should be done in a blender or shaker cup. It is instantized and only little clumps remain in the mixture.

Taste: I am currently using a container of Vanilla Ice Cream and its pretty decent. It taste okay, but nothing out of this world. I received a sample of Chocolate Malt flavor and was blown away. It taste like my favorite childhood candy called Whoopers.

Price: ON sells 2 lbs for $36.00, but you can get it around the low to mid 20 dollar range.

Overall: This product is wonderful.

Ive tried many protien supplements just as many people had. But I think I found my favorite, Optimium Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein Gold Standard Extreme Chocolate.

Not only is this a great whey protien source but it also includes many of your daily amino acids in one serving. It even includes glutamine, enough so that if you take multiple servings of this product you may not even need your glutamine powder altogether!!

Its taste is the next best thing. I can only say that the Extreme Chocolate tastes great out of all of the many protiens ive tried. It was my first flavor I ordered and havent changed it since; and I buy at least one 5 lb tub a month for the past year or so.

It only has 1 gram of fat per serving and hardly anything else but some of the best, fastest absorbing protien money can buy. You will actually enjoy drinking your protien daily as oppose to dreading it everyday. It taste like a chocolate milkshake if you blend it up with some ice. If no blender dont worry because u can mix it with a cup of water/milk and a spoon, it mixes extremely well.

GOLD STANDARD TO THE EXTREME! If you are at all skeptical about this product let me be the first to tell you that this product definately works. The protein and bcaa profile is unlike any other. The whey to power ratio is 79 % which is much more than any other whey product that I know. The whey powder is 100% whey isolate with no whey concentrates in there. This product is the ultimate standard of a product to use for recovery and muscle growth. I have tried no product that gave me as quick results and recovery as this one did. The powder is also fast absorbing which is perfect for my pre workout and post workout nutrition. I take 1 serving on my off days and two on my workout days. If you buy this product I would go with the chocolate flavor because the taste is wonderful and I would buy the 10 pd bag because it is a better bargain to buy in bulk. Overall a really great product.

100% Whey Protein Gold Standard is by far the best protein that I have ever tried and tasted. This protein surpasses all others in its ability to deliver optimal protein to the body when in need. The protein is a 100% whey isolate which means no whey concentrates in there which means it is better for people who are lactose intolerant. Their protein is also loaded with bcaas which also help you recover quicker. I will break down each aspect.

Taste: 5/5 Perfect chocolate taste, doesn't taste weird at all.
Mix: 5/5 Mixes really easily I just use a blender so I dont see the difference.
Overall: 5/5 Product works like a charm and whenever I need to supplement my diet with protein I always intake On whey.

Suggested Use: Either mix it with water or milk in 10-12 oz. Take 2-3 times on workout days and 1-2 times on non workout days. Always take before workout and after workout.

If you never tried ON Whey protein then go out and buy it!!!

I was looking for some good quick gains since football season was coming around the corner. I wanted a good protein that gave me the best results and I found ON Whey Protein. The taste is amazing, tasting almost like a perfect milkshake and it helped me gain mass for football season (with working out about 4 times a week). I was not disappointed and the price tag wasn't even high for an A+ product like this. I suggest you do not take this product with anything other than milk. Also you should use a blender because the old spoon and cup does not work well at all with this product and will make you hate it. The protein chunks will make you want to not take an amazing product like this. Use about 8-12 oz. of cold water with it too. If you want to gain mass quickly like me, buy ON Whey Protein.
