Costa Rican Cinnamon Flavor

One pack is 10 pieces of sugar-free gum (coated, not sticks), having equivalent caffeine of one cup of coffee (estimate) per piece. Not bad that one piece is 55mg caffeine. I liked the addition of theanine in the profile as well.

The texture of the piece was hard until you bite it open and it has almost a powdery consistency (much like you would expect from an aggregate of dry ingredients). After 20 minutes tops, the gum got real hard to chew, so it needed to be spit out. So it doesn't last very long in that sense.

Taste was fairly comparable to other cinnamon gums, but a tad weaker. The caffeine was easily detected and had a sharp taste for a while. Unfortunately, the cinnamon taste of the gum didn't last more than 20 minutes, and the flavor was completely gone. Lasted about as long as you could chew it texture-wise.

Did get a caffeine buzz, so it worked, but I had no real increase in physical energy. The buss was a but jittery, so not the best for certain activities. No major thermogenic effect, just mainly the stimulant effect of caffeine was seen.

I would recommend it for times when a quick boost is needed, such as class or driving.
