Peanut Butter Chocolate

Promax used to be known for really tasty bars with really poor nutritional profiles, but the company seems to have changed a bit (for the better). Promax now has a line of 'lower sugar' bars (apparently taking the hint from Detour), and the profile is much improved. With just 9 grams of sugar and 14 grams of fiber, this 220-calorie bar is a pretty good choice. It has 18 grams of protein and 7 grams of fat (4 grams saturated), so it isn't perfect, but it's better than a lot of snacks. The protein is mostly soy although there is some casein and whey. The bar is large considering the low calorie count, but the taste is pretty mediocre - don't expect a Reese's. Given the profile - which also contains a bunch of vitamins and minerals - and the price ($1.39 for each bar, not as part of a box) I would pick this up again without hesitation, although I might opt for a different flavor.
