For some reason, this brand's products appear on Amazon for absurd discounts from time to time, at which I decide to take the plunge, forgetting that the last product I tried was lame. PeptoPro is evidently appropriate pre-, intra-, and post-workout, but I only tried it post, so maybe that's why I was unsatisfied. While the mixability was great and the taste was average, I just didn't care for the profile. One scoop provides 8 grams of protein and 2 grams of carboydrates, so I went for three scoops - 24 g protein and 6 g carbs. While that's not bad, I have a feeling there's more to the story, given the small recommended serving size and the inclusion of 'corn syrup solids' in the ingredients. Oh, and the nutrition facts say 0 grams of sugar, yet sugar is the second ingredient on the label? Sketchy. The regular price is pretty expensive, so I wouldn't purchase this again. Final rating: meh/10.
