Dark Chocolate Chunk

You can only have so many protein supplements, so I decided to grab this fiber and Omega 3 bar because I figured it'd be more pleasant than downing Metamucil and a fish oil. Boy, was I wrong. Although I did enjoy the soft, chewy consistency, the taste was non-existent. I feel as though a bowl of unflavored oats would have been more flavorful. On the bright side, each bar contains 320mg of ALA from flax. The bars are 150 calories each with 9 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein. There are 7 grams of sugar, but you can't taste any of them. The fiber does help you stay full for a while, but not too long. Five grams of fat per bar, and partially hydrogenated oils are spread throughout, which is a turn off as well.
