Hard to star-rate a topical body wash/soap, so I will explain a bit.

I used BOTH the liquid and bar form of this product. I really liked the exfoliant in the form of ground coffee, nice texture, and added a great aroma to the product. One warning is that once in a while you may get a larger coffee ground that may give you a bit of a scratch, but nothing serious, just a minor caveat.

The smell overall was slight coffee, but hazelnut/almond tones (think Italian bakery smells). Showers using this product were kind of like aromatherapy sessions, the smell was quite relaxing.

Unfortunately, maybe it's just me, but the smell of the product wore off very quickly after the shower. Would have like a longer lasting smell on my body.

In combination with RPN's Flawless, stretchmarks of mine reduced a lot in appearance. I credit Java Lather to promoting greater moisturizer effect than normal "soaps," which is especially great living in a city as dry as mine. The exfoliant also helped my skin not itch so much.

The choice of bar or liquid body wash is up to you, but bar seems more readily affordable, but the body wash a little goes a long way.

The java lather soap from RPN is a pretty unique soap. It smells very nice, the scent is just enough so that you kind of smell the scent around you in a refreshing, relaxing way, but not so you reek of coffee. Aromatherapeutically speaking, i think it is very good for the mind, because coffee's smell itself is like a natural stress reliever, so not only does it feel good after a long day's of work, it also relaxes your whole body and relieves tension. Physically speaking, it does its job: to clean your body. I really did not notice much different in the moisture of my skin or any of that, but i still really like the lather.

Summer is around the corner, so its time to tone up and look your best right? that being a big thought in my head, i figured i would pick up some java lather after hearing great things about it. got about 3 bars sittin in the bathroom and 1 more in my locker at the gym.
the scent is fantastic. i enjoy the way it smells, faint, but its there, and pleasant. feels great on my skin, my body just looks fresher after running down the bar after a workout, and i just feel more relaxed overall.
i really love using this bar after working out, i plan to pick up a few more to keep stocked up in the mean time. biggest difference to me has been a noticable reduction in stretch mark appearance.

great product!

RPN is known for its variety of products. I just now have been purchasing their products. Java Lather is their latest product which happens to be a coffee-scented soap. It comes in a nice small soap box and the labels are solid. When you take the bar out of the box, you can smell the coffee emanating from it. It smells that good. I like to lather up for 45 seconds with this bar hitting all parts of my body focusing on lower body, underarms, neck, and chest. I have only used it at home, but I will see if anybody can pick up the smell of coffee in the morning. I look forward to using it on my face. All I know is that I feel just a little bit more alert when using it whether that is true or just a placebo effect. The bar is pretty durable and after a good 7 uses its still the same size. I believe its a good bargain with one normal size bar going for under 5 and the jumbo under 7 bucks. RPN you got a winner right here.

Java Lather? What the hell kind of product is this, you ask? OK, so it's not exactly your typical health and wellness "supplement", but given the popularity of its parent company RPN, it's one of those things to consider next time you place your supplement order.

So what is Java Lather? Simply put - it's a unique type of soap that's made of coffee, honey, almonds and some other goodies. It has a gritty texture to it, which really helps to exfoliate the skin.

Value - I'm normally a frugal shopper, so spending $5.00 on a bar of soap seemed a little obscene to me, but I did it anyway and I'm glad I did. This really works much better than all of the liquid lather soaps available at Wal-Mart. It not only smells great and does a great job at exfoliating the skin, but it doesn't overdry like many products.

This product also has another use - facial washing. That's right, this stuff actually does a much better job for facial cleansing than the facial cleansers I've used. If you use it only for facial cleansing, then it's sure to last a very long time.

Many of us put a great deal of time and effort into our physiques, so why in the world would you want to neglect your skin? Besides that, your supplement shopping cart probably has enough expensive stuff to make a $5.00 bar of soap look completely negligible.

This is a great product, and I'd highly recommend it to any person who gives a damn about looking good.
