Original Flavor

The original flavor was very tasty, much like your typical meat stick from the convenient store, but without the extreme saltiness and oozing of grease. BBQ-ey and slighty spicy, like a seasoned meat stick or jerky. Very "expected" taste profile, if you are familiar with other similar products. A little bit of acidity (sourness) was around, but not overwhelming at all.

The texture was great, much more 'solid' than a typical meat stick, and a bit chewier. Very enjoyable as it was like eating a decent cut of meat, which is great to know that is actual is and not just meat filler :)

Incredibly convenient way, and much cleaner than a protein shaker, to get 15g of protein quick and easy. Easy to throw in the backpack hiking, in class or at your desk at work.

Ingredient are very good, no MSG like other similar products, one 1g Carbs so they are great for cutting or low carb diets, and did I mention FAT FREE?!

One thing I would keep in mind is that while they do not taste very salty, they are fairly high in sodium, so a couple of these a day will add up your totals quick.

Perhaps Sci-Fit's most underrated product, the Fat-Free Beef Stix have just 60 calories and 15 grams of protein each, and are surprisingly (though not incredibly) large. The taste is amazing, I didn't expect much from a supplement company to be honest. Not hard to chew at all unlike most other jerky products, and also unlike other jerky these don't cost an arm and a leg. A nice choice if you're on the go as they are individually wrapped.
