Gemma Protein Isolate is one of True Protein's responses to the ever increasing prices of milk and subsequently our beloved protein powder. It's made from pea protein and IS a complete protein source. The texture and taste are different than most protein powders people are used to, much "lighter" and ends up mixing very thick unless a good amount of water is used. I got the premium dutch chocolate(always get premium) and enjoy the taste even in water. It's subtle and creamier than milk based proteins but enjoyable. In milk it's absolute great and is best used with milk+oats or natural peanut butter to really get a solid taste out of it. Gemma has a different amino acid profile than concentrates but stacks up very favorably in most areas and is a little higher in certain ones as well. I use this either when I'm low on money and still need to take in large amounts of protein or I'll add a scoop to an isolate shake to give a more slow digesting blend.

This isn't the absolute best protein on the market but if someone needs special thigns, no lactose, vegetarian protein, very cheap etc gemma is certainly on the radar and should be lookd into. I used DLA735 at checkout to get 5% off the entire order(well I got 10% because I always ordered 16 lbs of it).
