Written by soundcheck129 - #1 reviewer - View all my reviews As if there were not already enough pre-workouts on the market, Twinlab decided to drop one more in. Luckily, it's actually a pretty solid product. While Power Fuel is similar to many other products thanks to the arginine-caffeine-creatine formulation, it is differentiated due to, among other things, the lack of 1,3 and the inclusion of MCTs and beta-alanine. It's fairly low in calories, with 45 per serving due to the waxy maize and maltodextrin. I'm a fan of quick carbs in pre-workouts, so I don't have an issue with that. Energy was pretty solid, more than you might expect from a supplement with 120 mg, as that is less than you'll find in a lot of other products. Focus was improved but it wasn't one of those tunnel-vision scenarios, although stamina and endurance were solid. No crash at all, which is probably thanks to the rational amount of caffeine. Mixability was flawless although taste could have been improved. While it was tasty, there was a strong chemical taste to it. Not overwhelmingly impressive but not bad either. Results 1 - 1 of 1 |
