I always wondered why UN's protein was so cheap, considering it was an isolate, but then I found out it was wheat protein. Still, it's very low in fat and carbs and has a nice AA profile. The drawbacks though, are that it tastes pretty bad, though not unbearable, and the mixability is a joke. I tried to get a pudding-like consistency which is normally never a problem, but this rolled up into a sticky ball. This is the first chewy protein shake I've ever had. Would not recommend.

Category: Protein suitable for vegans especially. It contains zero lactose, zero cholesterol, and only 1 gram of sugar.

Profile: Wheat is the protein of choice used. It is not a wheat concentrate, but a better wheat isolate. It also has digestive enzymes which makes digestion smooth.

Mixing: It was easy to mix one scoop in 9 fl.oz. No problems noticed

Taste: The taste is one of a kind. This is certainly due to the protein being wheat-based. I have not tried a wheat protein before this, so I guess the flavor is alright. I give it a 7 out of 10 in taste whether it be milk or water.

Price: 57 servings for $19.99 has to be an amazing price for 3lbs.

Overall: Great alternative for vegans or anybody else.
