The pill works. Plain and simple read any other good review and thats what it did for me.

However, it tastes like coffee, meat tenderizer, butthole, and chocolate when you put the pills in your mouth, making it almost impossible to stomach or swallow.

It also has made me want to eat like a horse and made my face breakout like a pubescent kid....

Im gonna stop taking it and just find something else cuz i cant handle it. If you can handle putting poop flavored pills in your mouth, and having acne then this is the pill for you.

I am loving this stuff. I ran Prime for 6 weeks (9 caps for first ten days, then 6 caps a day) and gained 11 pounds and actually dropped a quite a bit of bodyfat. So lean mass gain was 12-13 pounds. Pretty impressive, especially since I didn't have any side effects. Strength gains were stupid...went from 285 for 6 on the squat to 325 for 8! Bench went from 255 for 5 to 315 for 6! Pull-ups went from 30 pound for 6 to 65 pounds for 5. I didn't really believe the permanent gains were true because I've done pro-hormones & designers before and always lost most of my gains even when I did proper PCT, but its true. here I am 4 weeks after stopping Prime and I have actually gained 2 more pounds (bodyfat the same) and my strength is still going up. Seems to have some residual effect. Needless to say these results are WAY more than i expected so of course I'm thrilled. Good stuff! Will buy again!

I haven't reviewed anything in a while, and that's because I usually just stick to my most basic supplements. But once in a while, I like to try something new, especially if there's a lot of hype around it.

The hot thing on the market these days seems to be USPlabs Prime. Since my life (including diet and exercise) is very structured and consistent, I thought I could provide some honest feedback. First, a couple of things about me: I have 20 years of lifting experience, and never really had an extended layoff. I'm fairly ectomorphic, with a small degree of mesomorphy. I can gain muscle (along with some fat) quite easily though; it's simply a matter of eating more quality food. The muscle and strength just increase without any extra effort on my part.

In their pamphlet that comes with the bottle, USPlabs states, "We could have easily selected subjects who hadn't worked out in a while - so the results showed a ridiculous amount of muscle gain that steroids won't even provide. Certainly other companies are doing just that... That's why we picked testers who would almost ensure USPlabs Prime DIDN'T work. Because we knew if it worked on these guys, it could work on anyone. And in the end - they still made significant progress despite our efforts to the contrary!" (Maybe next time, USPlabs can pick *me* as one of their test subjects!)

Anyway, I did *not* increase my food consumption whilst taking the supplement, which I did on the suggested 5 on, 2 off schedule. That's because it clearly states in the pamphlet, "Should I use it on a bulk or cut? You really can use [it] on either." Mine was neither, so according to them, I should have gained lean body mass, and lost at least a small amount of fat mass.

The results were extremely disappointing. I started the cycle with an open mind, expecting nothing, but not purposely doing anything to skew the results negatively. I felt none of the "incredible euphoria" ("Feel Like Superman!") that they claim is real-world feedback - indeed, I believe this could be a placebo effect. If you believe you're experiencing enormous strength gains, you will naturally be in a euphoric state.

Certain things in the pamplet strike me as rather suspicious, and nothing other than hype intended to get people to believe in their claims:
1) "The ingredients in USPlabs Prime are *extremely* rare... this stuff is *so rare and unique* that even the raw material suppliers were confused! ...because of the time scheduling of how these compounds are grown and harvested, if anyone even attempts to claim they have a similar product before the [sic] April 2010 you know they are full of shit!"
2) Their claims about how one of its two main ingredients is viewed as one of the most potent CNS compounds the world has ever seen, and how the "5 on/2 off scheduling delivers all of the positive benefits without the CNS breakdown." This ingredient is Terminalia Chebula. According to http://www.holistic-herbalist.com/terminalia-chebula.html, http://www.ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com/indian-herbs/terminalia-chebula.html and http://www.alternative-healthguide.com/ayurveda/terminalia_chebula.htm (all on page 1 of Google's search results for this ingredient), the main effects of this compound do not include CNS effects. Also, what exactly *is* "CNS breakdown?" According to what I could find, it is one of the physiological changes that accompany aging. Hardly something that accompanies excessive exercise nor administration of "CNS compounds." On the same topic, CNS compounds are generally neurological and psychiatric drugs, so it's hard to see how this fits in with anabolism or recovery.

I have read a lot about how many other users are getting the purported benefits from Prime, so I cannot say that your experiences with it will be similar to mine. But I do strongly suspect that there is group psychology at play here.
