I was going to make this review more Xyience-friendly by starting every word with x, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Anyway, this is more of a Red Bull-type drink than a pre-workout, as it comes in 16oz cans and doesn't have creatine or stuff like that. However, it does have a solid profile for an energy drink - caffeine, carnitine and taurine, guarana, ginseng and inositol. Sugar free and with 1000 percent of the RDA for Vitamin B6 per can, this is a pretty complete formulation. The only downside is this is a prop blend, so it's anyone's guess how much of what is in here; EnergyFriend.com claims 200mg. The energy is solid, although I found that the most significant effect was the focus and mental energy. I've found this more useful before a hardcore work session than a hardcore workout. The best part of this is the taste, though. Pretty unique, very flavorful, not overly sweet or weird. It's an odd combo, but it works well.
