Don't get me wrong - protein bars don't need to contain like 40 g each, but more than 10 g would be nice. If you feel that's necessary, then don't pick up this Zone Perfect Sweet & Salty bar. This is more of a reduced-calorie meal replacement or small snack bar, as it provides 200 calories, 23 grams of carbohydrates, 10 grams of protein and 7 g of fat. The subpar profile is overshadowed by the excellent taste, as this is both sweet and salty and has an indulgent flavor that is on par with great protein bars such as Supreme bars (albeit no chocolate in this one). The protein isn't from great sources - soy, milk and yogurt powder - so it's not likely to be a favorite, but it does provie a number of vitamins and minerals.
